Your body undergoes many changes in pregnancy, which can often contribute to aches and pains or difficulty maintaining normal functioning in and out of the gym. Strength training is key to increasing your body’s capacity to manage these changes without being held back due to pain or fear. I want you to understand how much strength impacts your ability to feel capable in everyday movements both while being pregnant, but also in taking care of a newborn.
Learn exercises that will target areas that will support you throughout your pregnancy and postpartum.
Bring awareness to the importance of the deep core and pelvic floor muscles during pregnancy and postpartum, and learn how to incorporate them into movements in and out of the gym.
This workshop is for those that want to learn how to build resilience in their body throughout your pregnancy, set themselves up well for recovery postpartum, and reduce common pregnancy discomforts.
All fitness levels welcome, even if you’ve never done strength-based workouts! Appropriate modifications will be given for each individual as needed.
BONUS: Sample strength-based workouts provided so you can continue what you’ve learned at home!
